Zap

Zap! Zap is an original super hero from the golden age of super heroes. He was first noticed working with the Electric Union, the main opposition for Dr. Apocalypse and the Nazi Uberman. While the others dived around seeking fame and glory, Zap quietly got on with saving people, restoring power, repairing roads, putting traffic back and outwitting Uberman who would easily beat him in a fight.

This picture is a WIP - Work in progress, as the character is built there will be more. Comments I have had so far: "He is a bit green isn't he!" Yes! He is. It actually hides his real color which was not a good color to have in the so called "Golden Age!" If it was generally known by the public that he was black he would not get anywhere near as good a reception from them. Anyway, who is going to associate that guy sweeping the floor and wearing grubby, ill-fitting overalls with Zap? Green was also chosen as it is the color of a newbie. One who has no experience. A bit tongue in cheek here!
