The Economy

Just a couple of days ago the chancellor said that the British Economy was too robust and strong to suffer like the Portuguese, Irish or other countries suffering because of the recession. Just yesterday there were reports being published that showed the countries economy had flat lined. Now until the press started using this expression I had never heard it being used to describe the economy. If the economy gets any worse then we are again in recession as the economy is not getting better and has sunk to the level of that flat zero line on a graph. Other European countries were in a panic when their economy was nearing this state. Mr. Osborne, the chancellor, a born zero if ever there was one, just grins and says our economy is strong. Since the press was warning of bad reports a few days back, when he said that he must have known they were coming.

Of course Tory press have dismissed some of the reports (from sources they see as allied to the opposition) as wrong or not having all the facts and then have just not mentioned the others from well respected international economic organizations and the Tory ministers are doing likewise.

I predicted on this site that the economy would reach this state under the Tories. It has although I must admit it took longer than I expected.

Hey! Mr. Born Zero! You could at least look worried!
