The best way to contact me is by email. Normally an email address is written something like: a.name@server.network.region - and software known as web crawlers look out for this format and when they come across it send the address to spamming or fishing servers. Some even send them to people who specialize in getting data to sell on to commerce for targeted marketing.

Because of that I am not providing an email link and I am writing the address with spaces before and after the @ symbol and using the word 'at' instead of '@' - so when typing the address please remove spaces and use the @ symbol. College students contacting me with regard to their courses should head their emails 'Life' followed by their class id - NOT their student ID.

People sending me compressed information please note that I use 7zip and WINRAR to deal with compression and decompression - though mainly 7zip. The compression package is free to download and use and deals with many formats.

Security of YOUR data sent by email:

Due to some recent comments I have had along with my own misgivings about security of data on a PC connected to the internet I am dealing with emails in the following manner:

I read and reply to the email and then cut and paste into an open office file any parts I want to keep. The email and the reply are then deleted. Of the parts I keep, I edit out anything that could give away the identity of its author. All emails I receive are treated this way and, using the best 'get rid of it from your computer' programs I can afford, are eradicated from my computer so that even if someone removed my hard drive the senders would be safe from being identified.

The exceptions to the above are of emails that the sender has okayed to be used with their identity, emails from high profile figures who should expect their comments to be quoted, illegal emails, offensive* emails, general non sensitive emails that have nothing to do with this site (like from my brother) and student emails.

If someone sends me something illegal the police will be directly notified and the email dealt with as directed by them.

If someone sends me something offensive I will respond and tell them what they have done, why it is offensive and warn them that I may name and shame should they do it again.

Student emails will directly be removed to a college drive and then dealt with in accordance with the policy of the college.

* Emails sent me that do not agree with my views, provide arguments contra to mine, are from groups or members of groups that I am 'against' or are using good legal English to wind me up, though they may offend me they are not "Offensive" within the context given above.
